Over the weekend, POCO launched the C65, its latest entry-level smartphone. Shortly after, the company announced that the phone is also being sold in Malaysia, marking the first time that the C-series has been made available in our local market.
The C65 sports a 6.74-inch 720p display with a peak brightness of 450 nits and a refresh rate of 90Hz, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. It runs on a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset paired with up to 8GB and up to 256GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion. There’s also a fingerprint scanner on the side for unlocking.
On the back, it has a camera setup made up of a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a depth sensor, while the display notch houses an 8MP front camera. Powering the C65 is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging using a USB-C port. On the connectivity side, it supports NFC, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3, as well as being equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack.
The C65 comes in three colour options and starts from RM499 for the base 6GB+128GB model exclusively on Lazada while the 8GB+256GB variant can be purchased for RM599 on Shopee. From now until 15 November, both variants are being offered at an early bird price of RM449 and RM549 respectively.
