ASUS has announced a special edition version of its previous flagship device, the ROG Phone 6. These are announced to commemorate its two-year partnership deal with Moonton Games, the publisher of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. So as you’d expect, this special edition device comes with additional flavours from the mobile MOBA title.
Specifically, the ASUS ROG Phone 6 MLBB Special Edition features the character Yu Zhong. While the devices themselves don’t sport too much in terms of Mobile Legends livery, they instead come with a gift box, that consists of a Devilcase featuring the aforementioned character, an MLBB badge holder, and the standard AeroActive Cooler 6 accessory.
As mentioned, the ASUS ROG Phone 6 itself is the same one that we saw from last year. Which means we’re looking at the very familiar Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It’s much the same story with the 6.78-inch OLED panel and its 165 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support, a 6,000mAh battery and support for 65W charging. Its main camera setup includes a 50MP main + 13MP wide angle + 5MP macro shooters, while the front facing one is a 12MP unit. No Pro variant, or anything from the 6D line, for this limited edition run.
The ASUS ROG Phone 6 MLBB Special Edition is available in Malaysia starting today. Its specific RAM and storage configuration is 12GB + 256GB, with a price of RM2,299. The company says that there are only slightly over a thousand of these available, befitting its limited edition status.
