Intel officially rolled out the 12th Gen Intel Core processors throughout the world earlier this month. If you prefer to get your hands on a pre-build OEM machine, the option for consumers in Malaysia was limited to the Alienware Aurora R13 but that has since changed through a recent announcement by one of Intel’s long-time local partners, SNS Network.
The Ipoh-based company has recently revealed its own line-up of 12th Intel Core pre-built gaming machines under its in-house brand, JOI. While the JOI Gaming PC X-treme is available in several options, the machine generally utilizes the same set of hardware.
Among them is the Tecware Forge S chassis and Thermaltake 850W power supply unit as well as the G413 gaming keyboard and G403 gaming mouse from Logitech. SNS Network also utilizes memory and storage components from Kingston including the two 8GB Fury DDR5-3200 RAM with RGB and a 500GB KC3000 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 solid state drive.
The company has also sourced components from GIGABYTE such as the Aorus 240 Water Force CPU Cooler alongside the Z690 UD, Z690 UD AC, and Z690 UD AX motherboards. In the promotional poster, SNS said that it is providing three years warranty for these components.
In terms of pricing, the model with Core i7-12700KF and Z690 UD AX can be obtained for RM5,299 while the variant with Core i7-12700K and Z690 UD is priced at RM5,399. On another hand, customers can also get the Core i9-12900KF model with Z690 UD AX for RM6,099 or opt for the Z690 UD pairing for RM6,199.
Do note that these JOI Gaming PC X-treme machines do not come with a graphics card as you have to purchase it separately which could be quite a challenge. at the moment. SNS does offer a selection of GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 30 Series cards for customers with a price range of between RM3,300 to RM7,300 but stocks are apparently quite limited.
In addition to that, these machines are also not pre-installed with Windows operating system which means another extra cost that you have to consider. Meanwhile, just head on to SNS Network’s online store, GLOO right here to know more about the new JOI Gaming PC X-treme.
