Digi’s Upcoming System Migration Will Temporarily Limit Customer’s Speed To 5Mbps

Digi has recently revealed that it will perform a system migration this coming Monday, 25 October. The implementation will affect all of the telco’s subscribers but the exact impact does depend on the service that each customer subscribes.

For example, the Internet speed for postpaid, prepaid, and mobile broadband customers will be capped to 5Mbps starting from 11:30 PM on 25 October until 9:30 AM of the following day. For VoLTE and VoWiFi services, they will be inaccessible much earlier though at 9:00 PM on 25 October.

Meanwhile, any of the telco’s self-service channels such as MyDigi, Digi Store Online, and EasyAdd as well as UMB menu and physical kiosks will also not be accessible during the system migration. The same also applies to the telco’s bill payment and prepaid reload services.

Digi noted that the system migration will bring some changes to some elements of their services including Internet rollover, Internet sharing, and Internet quota. For the full list of changes, you can check them out through Digi’s knowledge base source link that we have listed below.
