Adata officially unveiled its DDR5 memory modules, ahead of the launch of Intel’s 12th generation Alder Lake-S desktop CPU launch. As per the official statement, the brand’s new memory will be available in two lineups: a memory kit directly under the brand name, and one under the XPG gaming brand.
Like all other DDR5 memory kits that have been announced thus far, the self-name DDR5 memory kit will be available in one frequency: 4800MHz. Further, the memory will be available in both single kits of 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB, while the kits of two will be sold in pairs of the same capacity.
Availability for the standard Adata memory kits will be available at the end of October, with pricing starting at RM620 for a single kit of 16GB.
Moving on, the XPG Lancer DDR5 memory modules will be available both with and without RGB LEDs, but only in kits of two 16GB modules. More importantly, these memory modules will have a frequency of 5200MHz and run at a CL38 CAS latency. Because this is high-performance memory, Adata has also seen fit to equip the memory kit with a Power Management IC (PMIC) and an Error Correcting Code (ECC). Lastly and this goes without saying, the memory will be compliant with Intel’s XMP 3.0 overclocking system.
As for availability, the XPG Lancer DDR5 memory will be available starting November this year. At the time of writing, no local pricing has been announced.
