In September, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 13 series in China, its latest lineup of mid-range smartphones under the sub-brand consisting of three models at different price points. The company has officially confirmed a global launch date for the series but ahead of that, one of the variants has already made an appearance on the SIRIM database.
The highest-end model, the Note 13 Pro Plus, received local certification on 19 October with the model number 23090RA98G. Oddly enough, its two other siblings have still not been listed, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they won’t be offered here as the Malaysian launch has yet to happen or even be announced.
As for the specs, the Note 13 Pro Plus sports a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display and runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset. It has a slightly smaller battery capacity than the Pro variant at only 5,000mAh but makes up for it with a faster 120W charging speed.
For photography, it features the same setup as the Pro comprised of a Samsung ISOCELL 200MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 16MP front shooter. The Note 13 series is set to debut on the global stage on 4 January 2024, according to an event page on Xiaomi’s website.
