Hotlink has upgraded its “unlimited” and high-speed prepaid passes with more data and faster speeds. The new passes even offer a cashback reward as an extra incentive for purchases by select customers.
First off, the so-called Unlimited Internet PLUS Passes cost between RM40 and RM50 per month, with the former offering unlimited data that has a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) of 80GB with a 6Mbps speed limit whereas the latter has an FUP quota of 100GB with 12Mbps speed. While the speed and data cap have been doubled from the previous plans, the passes no longer offer uncapped speed from 2AM to 2PM.
The monthly High-Speed Internet Plus Passes, offering high-speed internet with unlimited calls, have also gotten a quota upgrade while remaining at the same price points. Users have the option between choosing 20GB of data for RM25 or 40GB for RM35.
The icing on the cake is that Hotlink is giving a 20% cashback voucher every time you purchase one of these monthly passes, although not everyone is eligible. According to its FAQ, those who qualify for the cashback are customers aged below 24 as well as those who were registered by a Hotlink or Maxis dealer in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Sarawak, Sabah, and Labuan.
Additionally, there are weekly passes for unlimited and high-speed internet. The weekly unlimited pass is priced at RM12 and offers an FUP of 20GB at 3Mbps speed with unlimited calls whereas the high-speed option at RM10 per week gives users 10GB of data with unlimited calls.
