Bethesda Announces Deathloop Recommended PC Specs

Deathloop

Bethesda is set to release Deathloop on PS5 and PC this month, 14 September to be exact. For the PC crowd, the company has announced the recommended PC specs, and it looks to be pretty demanding, even on the lowest experience preset.

What Bethesda has labeled as minimum specs, which gives a 1080p 30fps experience at low settings, requires an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 CPU at the very least. This is then paired with at least an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580 GPU. Minimum RAM requirement is at an odd 12GB figure.

This then goes up to an Intel Core i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX5700 GPU, and 16GB of RAM for high settings at 1080p and 60fps. Pump it up to ultra at 4K 60fps, and jumps to an Intel Core i9-10900L or AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800XT GPU. Storage requirement is at 30GB across the board.

It’s fair to say that if you haven’t updated your PC in the past five years, then your system won’t be able to play Deathloop. While the required hardware is not exactly new, it’s still pretty steep compared to the minimum requirements of other games. And upgrading right now will prove difficult, to say the least.
