ZTE has officially launched the Blade V50 Design in Malaysia, the successor to the Blade 40 Design that was released here earlier this year. The new phone is nearly identical to its predecessor in terms of design and specs, but it does see the addition of 5G with its new chipset and it even receives a price cut.
The Blade V50 Design sports a 6.6-inch 1080p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It gets a flat design throughout, with a flat display and even flat metal edges. The phone runs on a Unisoc T760 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
For the camera setup, it has the same configuration as its predecessor with a 50MP main shooter, a 2MP macro lens, a depth sensor, and an 8MP front camera. Powering it is a 4,500mAh battery with support for 22.5W charging. On the connectivity side, it supports 5G, an unspecified version of Bluetooth, NFC, and it is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Blade V50 Design comes in three vibrant colours, namely Sunrise Violet, Beach Green, and Diamond Black. It retails for RM599 and can be purchased through the brand’s Lazada and Shopee stores.
