Malaysia Airlines To Resume More International Flights Starting 27 March

Countries around the world are gradually reopening their borders around the world, just as Malaysia is on 1 April. With that in mind, Malaysia Airlines has announced that it will be resuming flights to a number of international destinations, as well as increasing the frequency of those that have already resumed.

Starting 27 March, Malaysia Airlines said that it will be reinstating flights to India after almost 24 months suspension. More specifically, the airline will have flights to New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad on the aforementioned date.

On the same date, the national carrier will also be increasing the frequency of its flagship Kuala Lumpur – London route to 11 times a week. Later, starting 1 July, this will be increased further to twice a day. On 1 April, Malaysia Airlines will be increasing the number of flights to Bangkok to 14 times a week. Another destination in Thailand, Phuket, will see the number of flights a week go up to three times starting on the same date.

The recently reinstated flights to Australia will also see a slight increase in flight frequency. Flights to Sydney will go up seven times weekly, while Perth will be getting five weekly flights. The airline also says that it has recently reinstated flights to Bali once a week since11 March.
