Cooler Master Malaysia has announced a special scheme to help out those who were affected by the terrible floods that hit several parts of Peninsular Malaysia recently. The company now joins the abundant list of companies offering repair and replacement programs for flood victims, including Samsung, Acer, TM, ASUS, OPPO, GoCar, Celcom, and TNB.
Through the newly established Cooler Master Flood Relief Program, customers can now initiate the RMA process for flood-damaged Cooler Master products. According to Cooler Master Malaysia’s website, their standard warranty policy doesn’t usually cover damages unrelated to manufacturing defects or caused by water. So, this program gives a special exemption meant to help flood victims during these unfortunate circumstances.
However, Cooler Master didn’t provide in-depth details regarding the program in its announcement today aside from the fact that you can initiate the process by messaging Cooler Master Malaysia through its official Facebook page. When we reached out to the company’s representative, we were informed that you will need to provide the serial number of your damaged product so that the company is able to point you to the place to hand over the flood-damaged product for RMA.
Just like its normal RMA program, all RMA requests for flood-damaged products will still be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This program will run its course until 31 January 2022, so make sure to note that date down if you intend to have Cooler Master Malaysia take a look at your flood-damaged products.
