While 5G phones have been making their way into Malaysia since 2019, expect more of them to appear in our market very soon as the public will finally be able to access the country’s 5G network in selected areas within Klang Valley next month. Among the latest in the list is the vivo Y76 5G which is now available for pre-order in Malaysia.
Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700, the new phone is equipped with a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display alongside 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The Y76 also supports the company’s Extended RAM feature that allows the phone to draw an additional 4GB from the internal storage as system memory.
On its back, the Y76 5G is equipped with a 50MP main camera alongside a 2MP macro camera and another 2MP sensor that acts as a depth camera. For selfies, the phone relies on a 16MP camera that is being housed within the notch on its screen.
Not to forget, the Y76 5G also features a 4100mAh battery which apparently takes just 32 minutes of charging time to achieve 70% of its capacity when charged using the 44W FlashCharge charger that comes together with the phone.
Priced at RM1,299, the phone is now available for pre-order until 26 November through vivo Malaysia E-Store as well as its Lazada and Shopee stores. Alternatively, customers can also do so via vivo concept stores and authorized dealers throughout Malaysia.
Regardless of whether online or offline stores, pre-order customers will receive an instant rebate of RM50, Mobile Legends Skin Pack, and Vanzo Fragrance Gift Box. Additionally, pre-order customers will also be provided with a screen protector together with one year worth of extended warranty and screen crack protection.
