A new leak is suggesting that Samsung is allegedly gearing up yet again to launch the ever mysterious Galaxy S21 FE. This time around, a handful of alleged promotional materials featuring the phone have made their way online, along with a couple of tidbits regarding its key specs.
The images themselves didn’t actually bring anything new to the table, where everything that was previously leaked from months prior are visually present. For a quick refresher, the alleged Galaxy S21 FE sports a design that closely resembles the original Plus variant, save for some slight differences. Most notably is its rear camera bump, which is now part of the phone’s rear panel rather than being a separate module, thus sharing the same colour scheme. On that note, it is said that the allegedly upcoming device will be offered in White, Black, Lavender, and Cream colour options.
CoinBRS, the website which shared these supposed promo materials, also claims to have obtained some information regarding the key specs of the Galaxy S21 FE. It says that the phone will be powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or an Samsung Exynos 2100, depending on the market it will be released in. Other than that, it will allegedly come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, and a 4,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging support via USB-C.
It is said that unlike its siblings, the Galaxy S21 FE’s rear triple camera array would lack a telephoto camera. Instead, it would feature a 64MP primary shooter, along with two unspecified sensors for its ultra-wide and depth cameras. Housed in the punch-hole cutout on the phone’s display is said to be a 32MP selfie camera.
The website added that Samsung will allegedly launch the Galaxy S21 FE early next year on 4 January 2022, seemingly corroborating with other leaks prior to this. While its pricing had not been revealed, CoinBRS notes that the smartphone will be sold at “a great price”.
