JBL first unveiled its Tour series of audio devices back in January this year, which consists of the Tour ONE wireless headphones and Tour Pro+ TWS earbuds. While arriving later than most markets, the company has announced that both products are now available in Malaysia.
The JBL Tour ONE wireless headphones are equipped with Hi-Res Audio certified 40mm JBL Pro Sound dynamic drivers, and come with active noise cancelling (ANC) capability. Powering the latter feature are a total of four onboard microphones, which is also used for hands-free calls and issuing commands to your phone’s built-in voice assistant.
JBL says that the Tour ONE is able to last up to 50 hours of playback with ANC disabled, while having the feature enabled would let it last up to 25 hours. It also features fast charging support via USB-C, which provides you with two hours of playback with just 10 minutes of top-up.
Features-wise, the over-ear wireless headphones come with a dedicated SilentNow button that lets you activate its ANC feature, even without activating Bluetooth. Then there’s the Smart Audio Mode by HARMAN that tweaks the device’s Bluetooth connection to provide an optimised “normal listening” experience, a high fidelity “music mode”, or a low latency “video mode”.
Next up is the JBL Tour Pro+ TWS earbuds, which is equipped with the brand’s 6.8mm Pro Sound dynamic drivers, and a total of six microphones (three on each side) to power its built-in ANC capabilities and for hands-free calls. Besides that, the device features HARMAN’s Smart Audio and Video for optimised listening via Bluetooth and is also sweatproof, with a rating of IPX4.
Battery-wise, Tour Pro+ TWS is capable of lasting up to eight hours on Bluetooth-only and six hours with ANC activated. Combined with the additional charges provided by its included charging case, users can extend the earbuds’ usage time up to 30 hours. According to JBL, 10-minutes of charging via the case is able to top-up an hour of music playback. Meanwhile, the charging case itself can be charged through USB-C or a compatible Qi wireless charging pad.
As mentioned earlier, both products under the Tour series are now available in Malaysia via JBL’s online store, its official stores on Shopee and Lazada, as well as as authorised retailers nationwide. The Tour ONE headphones and Tour Pro+ TWS earbuds are priced at RM1,699 and RM1,099 respectively.
