Grab is facing technical difficulties at the moment which resulted in users not being able to utilize its services since this morning. The disruption is not only happening to Malaysian users but has also been reported in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore.
It is not known when exactly the disruption happened although Grab Malaysia has acknowledged it through a post on Twitter at 9:19 AM. However, the post didn’t include any estimated recovery time and in-depth explanation regarding it.
If you open the Grab app right now, you would be first shown the service disruption notification. Once you dismissed it, you would then see that Grab’s home page which is usually full of promotional materials is currently empty, as shown above.
Meanwhile, there is no follow-up update regarding the matter from Grab Malaysia until now. We will update this article once we hear more, so stay tuned.
