It took the company quite some time to bring this particular model over to Malaysia but nevertheless, the Acer Swift X has finally made its way to our market. Originally introduced at next@acer Global Press Conference (GPC) back in May, the new model joins fellow GPC models, the 2021 Predator Helios 500 and Predator Triton 500 SE that have also just received their official launch in Malaysia.
In our market, the Swift X will be made available in two variants which are generally being separated by their processor. One such option is the AMD Ryzen 5 5600U which also carries 8GB of RAM while you can also opt for the Ryzen 7 5800U variant that has double the amount of RAM at 16GB.
Both variants do come with a Full HD IPS panel on their display alongside NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics as standard. In addition to having a 512GB solid state drive, the entry-level creators and gaming laptop which weighs around 1.39kg is also equipped with a 59Whr battery that is able to deliver up to 17 hours of battery life.
Price-wise, the new Swift X with Ryzen 5 goes for RM4,299 while the Ryzen 7 model can be obtained for RM 4,999. Both variants are now readily available for pre-order through Acer Malaysia eStore and Acer Flagship Store at Shopee.
