What appears to be an official promotional image featuring the Galaxy S23 FE, Samsung’s much rumoured wallet-friendly variant of its current generation flagship smartphones, has made its way online. The photo is shared by web publication MSPoweruser, which claims to have acquired it through a reliable but unspecified source.
In the promo, it is revealed that the upcoming Galaxy S23 FE will be offered in four different colour options: purple, black, white, and green. Much like prior leaks before this, the phone is also shown to sport a design that’s almost similar to the Galaxy A54, Samsung’s mid-range model that was launched earlier this year. What sets the former apart from the latter are the colours of its frame and the rings surrounding each camera lens on its back, which are depicted to be in silver instead of matching each colourway.
And just in case you missed it, we previously discovered that placeholders for three separate support pages related to the Galaxy S23 FE are now on Samsung Malaysia’s official website. We believe that each of these, which carries different denominations of the phone’s model number, may represent the different colour options that will be available in Malaysia.
But interestingly, in preparation for this report, we’ve discovered that three more pages have been recently added to the website. These carry the model numbers SM-S711BLGBXME, SM-S711BZABXME and SM-S711BZPCXME, which could mean that the phone may have two extra colourways than what was depicted in MSPoweruser’s supposed leak. Of course, this is just our speculation, so there is a chance that this might not be the case at all.
Besides that, MSPoweruser reports that Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S23 FE sometime during the fourth quarter of 2023. Some rumours also believe that the phone could debut alongside two other FE variants of the brand’s existing products, namely the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series and the Galaxy Buds FE, around the same time.
