We have heard about this particular phone’s imminent arrival in Malaysia since last November given its appearance in SIRIM’s database. However, it is only this month that the realme 10 will be made available to local consumers.
In case you feel a little bit deja vu, that is most probably because the realme 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ were already available in Malaysia last December. On the other hand, the model that just received its Malaysian launch yesterday is the non-Pro model.
Essentially the most junior offering of the series, realme 10 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen also has a maximum touch reporting rate of 360Hz and is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.Running on MediaTek Helio G99, the phone is also accompanied by 8GB of RAM which can be expanded further with up to an additional 8GB of memory. This is made possible through its Dynamic RAM feature although it will occupy some space on the phone’s 256GB internal storage.
For photography, the realme 10 relies on a 50MP f/1.8 main camera alongside a 2MP monochrome f/2.4 depth sensor. There is also a 16MP selfie camera on the device which features the Omnivision OV16A sensor.Wrapping up the phone’s general specification is a 5000mAh battery which apparently enables the phone to deliver up to 21 hours of YouTube, 19 hours of navigation time, 38 hours of call time, or 688 hours of standby time. Through 33W SuperVOOC fast charging technology, realme 10 can gather back up to 50% of its battery capacity within 28 minutes.
When it comes to pricing, the phone will be made available in Malaysia for RM999 with sales to begin on 15 February through both online and physical retail channels including realme Malaysia’s official Lazada and Shopee stores. Early adopters will be provided with a free realme Band 2 and Absolute Screen Crack Warranty that lasts for one year.
