ASUS Malaysia has officially launched three new models for its Vivobook series of laptops, equipped with big OLED displays. Users have the option to choose from the Vivobook Pro 14X OLED, Vivobook 15 OLED, and Vivobook Pro 15 OLED.
Vivobook 15 OLED
The most affordable model in the lineup, the Vivobook 15 OLED sports a 1080p 15.6-inch OLED display, a 720p webcam, harman/kardon speakers, 512GB of flash storage, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0. The base model starts at RM2799, which comes with an Intel Core i3-1115G4, 4GB of RAM, and Intel UHD graphics.
If you prefer team red, you can get the laptop equipped with either an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U or Ryzen 7 5700U, which costs RM3199 and RM3499 respectively. These variants instead come with 8GB of RAM and AMD Radeon Graphics.
As for ports, all variants come with USB 3.2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Type-C, USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI 1.4, and a MicroSD card reader. Where they differ is that the Intel variant only has a headphone out jack while the AMD variants have a 3.5mm combo audio jack and a DC-In port.
Vivobook Pro 15 OLED
The Vivobook Pro 15 OLED is equipped with a 1080p 15.6-inch OLED display, a built-in fingerprint sensor, 720p webcam, harman/kardon speakers, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0, but the Pro model only comes with AMD processors. Starting at RM4299, the base model runs on a Ryzen 5 5600H, and 8GB of RAM.
On the higher end, the Ryzen 7 5800H and Ryzen 9 5900HX variants cost RM4799 and RM5199 respectively. These variants also have an upgraded 16GB of RAM.
All Vivobook Pro 15 OLED configurations are powered by a GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU with 512GB of flash storage. Similar to the non-Pro model, it comes with USB 3.2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Type-C, USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI 1.4, a MicroSD card reader, 3.5mm combo audio jack, and a DC-In port.
Vivobook Pro 14X OLED
The Vivobook Pro 14X OLED has a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a slightly taller 16:10 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on an Intel Core i5-11300H and a GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU. It comes with only one configuration at RM4799 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of flash storage.
The 14X is equipped with USB 3.2 Type-A, USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI 1.4, a MicroSD card reader, 3.5mm combo audio jack, a DC-In port, and a Thunderbolt 4 port with power delivery. As with the Pro 15, it has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, a 720p webcam, harman/kardon speakers and a built-in fingerprint sensor.
All three Vivobook OLED laptops are shipped with Windows 10, Microsoft Office Home and Student, and a two-year global warranty. They can be purchased at ASUS’ Shopee page, Lazada page, or any ASUS or ROG retail stores nationwide.
