Ubisoft has been in the game publishing business for 35 years. And as part of its anniversary celebrations, the publisher is giving away three free games on PC, via its Ubisoft Connect storefront. They are the three games from the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles subseries.
If you’re not familiar the Chronicles games, they are 2.5D entries into the series of games. While the characters themselves are in 3D, the games play in the old 2D plane, making them quite different from the mainline titles. Naturally, with games that are played differently also comes different rules to them.
As for the games themselves, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, India and Russia games take you through side stories of the series, which involve the Ming Dinasty, the Sikh Empire, and the October Revolution, respectively. As mentioned, these are side stories, but the complete story for each often involves another form of media, such as a short film, graphic novel or comic book.
At any rate, you can claim the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy via Ubisoft Connect until 12 November. After which, you’ll have to pay RM79 for the set. Or if you choose to get them individually, then each entry costs RM31 apiece. At the same time, Ubisoft is also having a sale in conjunction, which will also end come 12 November.
