Five months have passed since Opensignal published its last Mobile Network Experience Report for Malaysia which saw Digi making a huge leap against other telcos in the country in terms of Download Speed Experience. In the latest edition of the report which has just been published this morning, the telco continues to lead the category.
Using data that was gathered between 1 June and 29 August, Opensignal noted that Digi’s download speed is not as high as before though. In fact, the speed has reduced to 12.4Mbps which is 0.9Mbps less than what the telco has achieved earlier this year.

Interesting enough, Maxis has steadily held its download speed at 11.9Mbps which is the same figure stated in the April 2021 report. The telco also took over the Video Experience lead from Digi but with just a difference of 0.5 points.

When it comes to Games Experience though, Maxis stands tall over the rest and no longer have to share the title with U Mobile as per the previous report. On another hand, U Mobile successfully maintain its grip on Voice App Experience and Upload Speed Experience which is something that the telco has been doing since September 2020’s report.
Meanwhile, Unifi no longer has to share the 4G Availability’s crown this time around with Celcom who continues to hold its reins over 4G Cover Experience.
