The Alan Walker edition of ASUS’ ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop has officially launched and is now available for purchase in Malaysia. As the name suggests, this variant of the brand’s G14 laptop features a special skin, designed and made in collaboration with the titular DJ, Alan Walker.
Just like ASUS did with its collaboration with the tech-ware clothing brand, ACRONYM, with the first generation of the Zephyrus G14, the exterior of the 2021 model openly flaunts the stylings and label designs, made from scratch by the artist himself. Further, the design also extends into the Anime Matrix LED panel at the back of the G14, in the form of Alan Walker-inspired animations.
Specs-wise, the hardware sitting underneath the hood of the Alan Walker edition G14 includes an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB NVMe Gen3 SSD, and a 76Whr battery. As for its display, the laptop is fitted with a 14-inch Adaptive Sync, IPS panel, with a 120Hz refresh rate for good measure too.
The laptop will retail for RM7999, and will be available for purchase at all physical ASUS Stores, as well as the brand’s Lazada and Shopee store page. In addition to the laptop, ASUS is also selling a special edition ROG Slash Sling Bag for RM399. Further, ASUS will be hosting a special promotion during the 9.9 Sale on both Lazada and Shopee, where the brand will be giving customers up to RM150 off for both the ROG Flow X13 and the standard edition Zephyrus G14.
